DATE: Saturday, July 27th, 2013
TIME: 10:00 a.m.
LOCATION: The ride will start at Law Park next to Machinery Row Bicycles. Riders will travel clockwise around the lake for a ride that will take recreational cyclists approximately one hour and 15 minutes to complete, ending at Law Park for the Clean Lakes Festival where riders will receive a free beverage (beer [21+] or soda) and sandwich. The bike course will remain open until 2:00 p.m.

To Make a Pledge towards a rider, you can either do that directly with the rider or you can do that electronically by following this link. You’ll just need to know the rider’s name.

Riders can pick-up pledge prize when you check in at the ride. Every rider will be given a raffle ticket for prizes that include: a Trek 7.3 FX bike and two bike equipment bags from Budget Bicycle.

Join us for Loop the Lake, a recreational bike ride around Lake Monona. Along the ride, there will be checkpoints as well as beverage stations. The ride will end at Law Park where the Clean Lakes Festival is having its all-day waterfront event. The ride is establishing the “official” Lake Loop Scenic Bike Route which will offer resident cyclists a permanent, alternative scenic bike route around Lake Monona and through the cities of Madison and Monona.
