Save Our Lakes Summit (April 21)

The first annual Save Our Lakes Summit, to be convened by the Clean Lakes Alliance on April 21st will provide participants a first look at two reports vital to the health of the lakes of the Yahara Watershed.

1.    The engineering report is the next chapter in the Yahara CLEAN implementation process.  The report will be a road map for concrete actions to reduce Phosphorous entering Yahara watershed lakes by 50%.

2.    The State of Our Lakes Report is a collection of user-friendly environmental data and information about the health of Dane County lakes.

Lake enthusiasts, scientists, government representatives and other stakeholders along with students and members of the general public will engage in a discussion with the authors of the engineering report.  Attendees will also have the opportunity to discuss, recommend and outline strategies to address the actions prescribed in small groups.
